Enrollment, formats, certificates and what to expect, whichever course you take.
Who is J3 Trainers and Consultants, Inc. (J3TCI)?
J3TCI is a duly recognized professional training institution based in Cagayan de Oro City. We are accredited as a Safety Training Organization (STO) by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), as a CPD Provider by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and as a Recognized Training Institution (RTI) by the Department of Energy (DOE). These accreditations authorize us to conduct professional training face-to-face, by webinar, and online.
What training programs do you offer?
We run four main lines:
- CCPE Accreditation Program
- The 8 trainings required for Contractors' and Consultants' Project Engineer accreditation under DPWH D.O. 169, s. 2025.
- Safety and OSH Training
- Mandatory courses (COSH, BOSH for SO1 and SO2), SO3 Industry Packages, and advanced or specialized safety courses.
- Energy Efficiency and Conservation Training
- DOE-recognized courses for energy professionals under RA 11285.
- Construction Project Management and Heavy Equipment Inspection
- Specialized professional courses.
Are your courses online, webinar, or face-to-face?
It depends on the course. Our online self-paced courses can be started anytime once payment is verified, with no fixed class dates. Live webinars run on scheduled dates via Zoom. Face-to-face trainings run on scheduled dates at an announced venue. Each course page states which format applies, and several courses are offered in more than one format at different rates.
How do I enroll?
Browse the programs on our Trainings page, then send us the course and your preferred format, webinar or face-to-face, through the Contact page, by email, or by phone. We will reserve your slot and confirm the next batch.
For company bookings, Request a Quote is the fastest route: send the course, the headcount and your target dates and you will get a written proposal back.
When can I start after I pay?
Payments are verified manually against our bank records, which usually takes 1 to 2 business days. Once verified, we email your confirmation.
Online self-paced courses can be started immediately after that. Scheduled trainings begin on their posted dates, and we send joining details before the batch starts.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. A certificate of training is issued upon completion of each course. Once your account is set up, your certificates are also available to download anytime from your Training Portal account.
Are your certificates recognized by government agencies?
Our certificates are issued under our accreditations: DOLE for OSH training, PRC for CPD credit, and DOE for energy courses. Our CCPE trainings are accepted for the training requirements under DPWH D.O. 169, s. 2025.
Training is one component of accreditation or certification. The issuing agency may also require work experience or documentary requirements that the training itself does not cover.
Can a company enroll several employees at once?
Yes. Companies regularly enroll staff in both our online and scheduled trainings. Send us the course, the number of participants, and your preferred format through Request a Quote and our team will assist with the arrangement.
What do I need to join a live webinar?
A stable internet connection and a device that can run Zoom: a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone. We recommend a laptop or desktop for the longer technical sessions. The Zoom link and instructions are emailed before the training starts.
Can I reschedule or transfer to another batch?
Reschedule and transfer requests are handled case by case. Contact us as early as possible with your name, the course, and the batch you are enrolled in, and our team will confirm what is possible for your batch.

How much is the complete program?
There are two options for the full 8-course package:
- Full payment, ₱30,000
- One-time payment. This is the best-value option, saving ₱15,000 against the ₱45,000 regular total.
- Installment, ₱36,000 total
- ₱6,000 down payment upon enrollment, then ₱5,000 per month for 6 months.
Taken individually at regular per-course rates, all 8 courses total ₱45,000.
Can I enroll in just one course instead of the package?
Yes. Every CCPE course can be taken individually at its regular price, shown in the table above. The package rates apply only when you enroll in the complete program.
Does completing the 8 trainings automatically make me accredited?
No. The trainings fulfill the training-points requirement under DPWH D.O. 169, s. 2025, and we provide guided support for your Regular Accreditation application.
The accreditation itself is granted by DPWH based on its full set of requirements, which also includes experience and documentary requirements.
I have already completed some of the required trainings elsewhere. Can I take only what I am missing?
Yes. Enroll only in the courses you still need at their individual rates. If you would like help identifying which of the 8 you are missing, send us a message and our CCPE team will go through it with you.
Who do I contact about CCPE?
Email ccpe@j3trainings.com or call 0917-777-6493 or (088) 323-3462.
Energy Manager and Energy Auditor certification and re-certification under RA 11285.
What energy courses does J3TCI offer?
We offer the Energy Manager Certification Course (EMCC), the Energy Auditor Certification Course (EACC), and re-certification courses for professionals renewing their credentials. J3TCI is a Recognized Training Institution (RTI) accredited by the Department of Energy.
What is RA 11285 and does it apply to me?
RA 11285, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act, requires designated establishments to meet energy efficiency obligations, including the designation of a certified Energy Manager and the conduct of energy audits. If your company is a designated establishment under the law, these roles must be filled by DOE-recognized certified personnel.
What is the difference between EMCC and EACC?
The Energy Manager Certification Course prepares you for the Energy Manager role, overseeing your organization's energy management program and compliance reporting. The Energy Auditor Certification Course prepares you to conduct energy audits, measuring and evaluating energy use and identifying efficiency opportunities. Many professionals take both.
Who should attend?
Engineers, facility and plant managers, maintenance heads, sustainability officers, and staff assigned as their company's Energy Manager or Energy Conservation Officer, particularly in designated establishments covered by RA 11285.
When are the schedules and how much do they cost?
| Course | Hours | Schedule | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Energy Manager Certification Course (EMCC) | 56 | August 14 to 20, 2026 | ₱10,000 |
| Energy Auditor Certification Course (EACC) | 52 | August 14 to 20, 2026 | ₱10,000 |
| Energy Manager Re-Certification Course | 16 | August 12 to 13, 2026 | ₱3,500 |
| Energy Auditor Re-Certification Course | 16 | August 21 to 22, 2026 | ₱3,500 |
Both certification courses are blended: self-paced online material first, then live webinar sessions from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on days 4 to 7.
Energy course prices are exclusive of VAT. Slots per batch are limited, so we recommend reserving early.
Is the certificate recognized by the Department of Energy?
Our energy courses are delivered under J3TCI's accreditation as a DOE Recognized Training Institution, and the course certificate is a requirement when applying for the Certified Energy Manager or Certified Energy Auditor qualification.
Recognition in the role also depends on meeting the DOE's other requirements, which may include examination and experience requirements.
I am already certified. Do you offer re-certification?
Yes. We conduct 16-hour re-certification courses for Energy Managers and Energy Auditors renewing their credentials, priced at ₱3,500. Send us your current certification and expiry date and we will advise on the right batch.
Safety Officer levels, the self-paced catalog, SO3 packages and the live batch schedule.
What safety and OSH training do you offer?
Two tracks:
- Scheduled live trainings
- Specific courses on fixed dates, delivered by webinar or face-to-face.
- Online self-paced OSH courses
- Our standing catalog, available year-round with no fixed dates. Start anytime after your payment is verified.
Which course do I need for each Safety Officer level?
- Safety Officer 1 (SO1)
- The 10-hour BOSH for SO1.
- Safety Officer 2 (SO2)
- A 40-hour course, either BOSH for SO2 or COSH, the construction-industry version.
- Safety Officer 3 (SO3)
- An additional aggregate of 48 hours of advanced or specialized OSH training relevant to your industry, covered in one bundle by an SO3 Industry Package.
What is the difference between BOSH and COSH?
Both are 40-hour courses that meet the training requirement for Safety Officer 2. COSH is the construction-industry version, while BOSH for SO2 is the general version. BOSH for SO1 is a separate, shorter 10-hour entry-level course.
How much are the online self-paced OSH courses?
Basic OSH mandatory courses
| Course | Hours | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) | 40 | ₱3,000 |
| Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH for SO2) | 40 | ₱3,000 |
| Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH for SO1) | 10 | ₱1,200 |
SO3 Industry Training Packages are 48 hours at ₱4,000 each, available for Construction, Mining, Logistics, Commercial Facilities, and Industrial Facilities.
Advanced and specialized courses
| Course | Hours | Price |
|---|---|---|
| HIRADC | 8 | ₱1,250 |
| Accident Investigation and Reporting | 8 | ₱1,500 |
| JHA with Safe Job Procedure | 8 | ₱1,500 |
| Scaffolding Safety | 8 | ₱1,000 |
| Roadworks Safety and Traffic Management | 8 | ₱1,000 |
| Chemical Safety | 16 | ₱1,500 |
| Crane Safety | 8 | ₱1,500 |
| Heavy Equipment Safety | 8 | ₱1,500 |
| Fleet Safety | 8 | ₱1,500 |
| Machine Safety | 8 | ₱1,500 |
| Fire Safety | 8 | ₱1,500 |
| Electrical Safety | 8 | ₱1,500 |
| Defensive Driving Course | 8 | ₱1,500 |
What is an SO3 Industry Package, and why take it instead of individual courses?
Under DOLE D.O. 252, Safety Officer 3 requires an aggregate of 48 hours of advanced or specialized OSH training relevant to your industry. Each SO3 Industry Package bundles exactly that 48 hours into one enrollment at ₱4,000, which is more cost-efficient than buying enough individual 8-hour courses to reach 48 hours.
Choose the package that matches your workplace: Construction, Mining, Logistics, Commercial Facilities, or Industrial Facilities.
What live trainings are scheduled for the rest of 2026?
| Course | Dates | Webinar | Face-to-face |

| Loss Control Management | August 3 to 7 | ₱4,000 | ₱4,000 |
| Behavior Based Safety | August 10 to 11 | ₱3,000 | ₱4,000 |
| BOSH for SO2 (face-to-face batch) | August 24 to 28 | Not offered | ₱5,000 |

| Training of Trainers Course (TOT) | October 27 to 29 | ₱3,000 | ₱3,500 |
Why is BOSH for SO2 priced differently in two places?
Because they are two different offerings. The online self-paced BOSH for SO2 is ₱3,000 and can be started anytime. The scheduled face-to-face batch on August 24 to 28 is ₱5,000 and includes live instruction on fixed dates. Let us know which one you want and we will confirm the details.
Where are the face-to-face trainings held?
The ESST batch on July 30 to 31, 2026 is held in Cebu at 2F City Time Square-Mactan, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City. Venues for other face-to-face batches are confirmed upon enrollment.
Does completing the training make me a certified Safety Officer?
Completing a course earns you a certificate of training from J3TCI, a DOLE-accredited Safety Training Organization. The training fulfills the training component.
Recognition as a Safety Officer at a given level also depends on meeting DOLE's other requirements, such as the work experience required for SO3. Our team can help you check what else you need for your target level.
Are J3TCI certificates recognized by DOLE?
Yes. J3TCI is accredited by DOLE as a Safety Training Organization, so our OSH training certificates are issued under that accreditation.
What do HIRADC and JHA stand for?
HIRADC is Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determination of Controls. JHA is Job Hazard Analysis, taught together with Safe Job Procedure. Both are 8-hour specialized courses that count toward the SO3 advanced training requirement.
